About Us

Kathleen - Co Host

As an Airbnb host, I work hard to ensure my guests have a *five-star* experience because hospitality and warmth are of the utmost importance to me. "Mi casa es tu casa" is something I take to heart because you're stepping into my home, and I hope you'll enjoy its comforts as much as I do. Don't hesitate to ask me anything before, during, or even after your stay! Despite the intense Florida heat and lack of public transportation in Gainesville, it's an amazing, charming town to visit––full of beautiful places to see and great restaurants to eat at. I'll always do my best to make sure you enjoy it to the fullest!

Anna Marie - Host

I am the current caretaker of The Richard’s House and The Wise House (also known as Grandma’s Gator House). The landmark downtown Victorian sits on the last corner in Gainesville which has a Victorian on each corner. I have spent many years of my life meticulously preserving the beautiful wood throughout the home. The other beautiful historic home, right next to “The Swamp”—the University of Florida’s famous stadium—has also been a labor of love. During the fall semester, at any given home football game, you will find me in the yard hosting my longstanding tailgate with regulars who have been coming for decades. I am so happy to share the charm of this wonderful, quaint town with you, where you can find anything your heart desires: nature reserves, museums, colleges, sporting events, restaurants, farmers markets, theaters, music and arts festivals, and so much more! If we happen to bump into each other during your stay, I’ll gladly share with you the history of your accommodations and surrounding areas like downtown—the heart of historic Gainesville. I am forever fascinated by this beautiful town, where I was born and raised. I can’t wait to share these gems with you!
